In 1981 he was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors and holds a Diploma in Arbitration Law from UCD and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He has served as a Member of an Expert Group advising on Law Reform.

Since the establishment of the practice in 1981 Liam has gained a wide experience in all areas of litigation. He has been involved in many significant Civil and Criminal Law cases. He has acted for both Plaintiffs and Defendants in a huge variety of cases before various Courts and Tribunals.

Liam advises a number of Institutions and Bodies including Fianna Fail, The Irish Prison Officers Association and the Irish Racehorse Trainers Association.
